Jojo F. Javier, affectionately known as "Teacher Jo" to her students, embodies the essence of a proud mother, dedicated nurturer, and passionate artist. Her approach to both life and art is defined by a beginner’s mindset—a philosophy of starting with an open heart and an empty vessel, ready to absorb new lessons without preconceptions.
Guided by her belief that growth stems from curiosity, Teacher Jo often shares a favorite Picasso quote with her students: “Good artists copy. Great artists steal.” For her, this isn’t merely about replication, but rather about drawing wisdom and inspiration from the masters who came before. By studying the works of both historical and contemporary artists, she finds a wellspring of techniques and ideas that inform her journey toward her own unique artistic voice.

Artist Kyla's passion for both teaching and creating shines through in her use of vibrant, cheerful colors. Playful Imagination
From a young age, Kish Javier displayed an innate creative spark, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary expressions of art. As a child, he delighted in sketching his favorite cartoon characters, selling them to his classmates, and crafting sculptures of anito—figures inspired by Philippine indigenous folk religions—out of mud.
Kish’s world was one of endless adventure: climbing trees, fashioning wooden swords, and choreographing spirited battles with his siblings. For him, play wasn’t just an activity; it was an intrinsic part of his being, a lens through which he explored and expressed his boundless imagination.
In Colorful Love, his paintings capture this essence of unbridled creativity and freedom. Each piece radiates the spirit of play, embodying spontaneity and a fearless exploration of movement, color, and emotion. His art invites viewers to reconnect with their own sense of wonder and the simple joys of unrestrained creation.
